Introduction
Folly Arboretum and Winery is located in Badacsonyörs, on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, where nature, culture, and gastronomy come together in unique harmony. Founded in 1905, the 5-hectare arboretum is home to hundreds of pine trees, deciduous trees, and herbaceous plants, offering a breathtaking panorama of Lake Balaton. The fourth generation of the Folly family takes care of the garden, which offers not only botanical attractions, but also interactive programs, an escape room, light-painted paths, and child-friendly experiences.
The venue also has its own winery and restaurant, where you can taste wines made from the characteristic varieties of the Badacsony wine region, such as Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris), Olaszrizling (Welshriesling), and Kéknyelű – can be sampled.
