YLZÉ - SAME: A Dance Performance at Petőfi Theater Veszprém

Through constantly changing, contact-based, and dynamic movement, the audience can witness a journey unfolding on complex physical and psychological planes where the boundaries of the individual and identity become blurred.

The performance’s unique visuals and uplifting, ethereal elements offer an extraordinary spectacle, while reflecting on the fragility and power of fate.

SAME tells the story of the moment two people meet, who, through their relationship, reevaluate their life’sand their relationship with themselves. The work combines the tools of contemporary dance and circus arts to explore the boundaries of the body, the interplay with gravity, and their inner struggles, thereby faithfully representing the “Cirque Danse” style.

SAME is about the duality of individual freedom and the understanding of otherness. It shows how movement shapes our self-image and how we strive for balance in our relationships.

The performance offers a unique, hybrid experience through the fusion of contemporary dance and circus movement art—it serves not only as a display of physical dynamics but also as a symbol of the deep, emotional, and physical

bond.
