Thursday, April 23, 4:30 p.m. A guided tour of the Vasilescu Collection by Fruzsina Menta, with a special focus on the work of Lili Ország

Fruzsina Menta Pápai, art historian at Rómer Flóris Museum of Art and History in Győr, which houses the Vasilescu estate, and which was a collaborator on the exhibition held at the local synagogue. As an expert on the collection, she will guide visitors through the exhibition in Veszprém.

In celebration of Hungarian Film Day, Sándor Mohi’s In Memoriam Mária Lugossy, a film made in 2020 that pays tribute to the artist. 52’

With the help of art historian Mária Kovalovszky, we tour the locations of the artist’s life, including Veszprém, while Eszter and Réka, her three children—Áron, Eszter, and Réka, recall her character through their personal memories.
