Introduction

Zamárdi Main Beach is one of the most popular public beaches on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, offering an ideal environment especially for families with kids. The three-kilometer-long continuous stretch of grassy, shaded shoreline ensures safe swimming and comfortable relaxation. The area features playgrounds, restrooms, changing cabins, food vendors, and rental services. The beach regularly earns the highest rating, the Blue Flag, and on summer weekends, it also hosts kids' programs.

Location & Accessibility

Zamárdi is located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton and is easily accessible from the M7 motorway. The Main Beach stretches along Margó Ede Promenade, with multiple entrances. The town’s train station and bus stops are within walking distance from the beach. During the season, lifeguard services and a first aid station ensure the safety of beachgoers.
