It’s wonderful to listen to children make music. Watching and listening to children’s ensembles, however, is a truly special experience: seeing the concentration as they play together, the way they listen to one another, and the joy on their faces at their shared achievement is both moving and fascinating. We experienced this at our summer event, the “Cukik a cukiban” series, and it inspired us to create another platform for young musical talents in the area to showcase their talents. This is how our church music festival, titled “Pueri in adventu – Children in Advent,” came into being in 2024.
