Városlőd

Városlőd is a settlement in the heart of the Bakony Hills, where nature and history meet. The arboretum-like environment of Iglauer Park offers accommodation and event venues, while the cultural treasures of the settlement— the ruins of the Carthusian monastery, the German National House, Flórián Chapel, and the Calvary – preserve traditions. The hiking trails, stream valleys and forest rest areas are ideal for active recreation, while Huta Square evokes the past of glass manufacturing.

The settlement is located at the intersection of Main Route 8 and Route 83, thus easily accessible by car. It can be reached by bus from Veszprém, Ajka, and Pápa, rail transport is currently limited.
