History

The history of the Szentgáli Reformed Men's Choir goes back more than 150 years. Their headquarters, built next to the Reformed church, was constructed with their own resources and is a characteristic feature of the traditional streetscape of Szentgáli. They lost it during nationalization, but bought it back in 1989, for the second time, which is a fine example of initiative and preservation.

The building was renovated with the help of the Szentgáli Kurázsi Foundation andand will be decorated with a painted coffered ceiling made in community work from 2023.

Currently, in addition to church programs, it hosts smaller community events and dance classes.
