Running with high knee lifts running Veszprém, Old Town Square Large-scale, synchronized community activities are common in Hong Kong, so we can't even imagine what could tie this seemingly easy-to-set record to them. They probably did it on top of a skyscraper—but that's their problem. Old Town Square is perfect for us, as while at least 673 of us are warming up for the day, the task is to do high knee lifts for 30 seconds, and we won't even notice that we've bagged our first world record.

Stationary running running Veszprém, Old Town Square In 2016, Melbourne showed that progress isn't always measured by distance. 2,195 people ran at the same time, in one place, side by side. That's what we're doing now, because the beauty of running in place is that none of us can be faster or slower than the others. There is no room for competition here, only willpower counts. Let's prove to the world that at least 2,196 of us believe that even when running in place, we can still share a common direction.

Hopping on one leg running Veszprém, Old Town Square With 1,303 participants, Barcelona proved that balance is not only a physical issue, but also a social one. Twenty seconds may not seem like much time, but jumping on one leg with full focus can feel like an eternity—but perhaps that is the point: paying attention. Deep breaths, concentration, and shared consciousness, just like in Stranger Things. If we can tune into each other, we will surely succeed. When you have 20 seconds, try it at home on your own, then come on March 21 and let's do it together, as a group.
Old Town Square
Introduction
Veszprém's Old Town Square is the historical and cultural center of the city, which has been the scene of public life for centuries. The octagonal square used to serve as a market square, but today it is a permanent venue for fairs, festivals, and city events.
Strolling among the Art Nouveau and Baroque buildings of the square, you can learn about the history of Veszprém: here you will find former Matulka House, the city's first town hall, and Arany Sas Pharmacy, which still operates as a pharmacy today. Rákóczi Street, which connects to the square, is the remaining section of former Main Street, lined with historic and Baroque houses. In the immediate vicinity of the square are City Hall, the Tourinform office, and numerous cafes, restaurants, and galleries, making Old Town Square not only historically significant, but also outstanding from a gastronomic and tourist perspective.
Location & Accessibility
Old Town Square is located in the inner city of Veszprém. By car, you can park in the surrounding streets, such as Vár Street, Megyeház Square, and Fortuna Courtyard. Paid parking spaces are available. It can be reached from the train station by local bus lines 2 or 5, and it is only a 3-minute walk from the Theater stop to the square. The square is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle, and by public transportation. It is barrier-free, dog-friendly, and open to visitors all year round.
