Introduction
Kinizsi Castle is one of the most significant medieval fortresses in the Balaton Uplands, which was donated by Matthias Hunyadi to Pál Kinizsi in 1472. The square castle with residential towers was built at the intersection of trade routes, with water moats and abundant springs ensuring its defense. Today, interactive exhibits, models, stone quarry, and knight's hall evoke the world of the Middle Ages, while the tower offers an unparalleled panorama of the surrounding landscape.
