Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning, qualified instructors will help you learn the basics of yoga and master exercises that you can later do every day at home. Recommended for all ages; beginners and advanced practitioners are both welcome. 📍 Location: Main Beach, Káptalanfüred 📅 Date and Time: 7:30–9:00 a.m., every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning from June 19 to August 30 💚 Participation: Free; no prior registration is required. We have a limited number of yoga mats and other equipment available. If you have your own, please bring it with you! Over the course of four sessions, you’ll start with a theoretical introduction, then learn the basics of paddling technique, followed by an exciting paddle through the reeds where you can put what you’ve learned into practice. Finally, we’ll wrap up the course with a sunset tour. The sessions build on each other, but you can also attend them individually. After the course, we’ll also organize three community SUP outings, where you can get to know not only Lake Balaton’s wildlife but also the neighbors of Káptalanfüred. :) COURSE: Module 1: SUP Fundamentals Training – Safety and Theory Theoretical preparation for participants on safe waterfront behavior and mastering the basics of the sport on shore and on the water. 📅 Date: 3:00–5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2026 Module 2: Technical and Emergency Training Practical training in confident board handling and self-rescue techniques under controlled conditions. 📅 Date: 3:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2026 Module 3: “Riviera” Eco-Tour – Reed Beds and Open Water Applying the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge over a longer distance, while respectfully observing Lake Balaton’s wildlife. 📅 Date: 3:00–5:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026 Module 4: Sunset “Flow” Experience Tour Demonstrating the positive effects of sport on recreation and mental health through light, low-intensity paddling during twilight hours. 📅 Date: 7:15–9:15 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026 COMMUNITY SUP TOURS: Reed Bed Tour We invite everyone to join us for an exciting tour where we’ll discover a lesser-known side of Lake Balaton. 📅 Date: 3:00 PM–5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, and 3:00 PM–5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2026 Sunset Tour Silence, magnificent light, a breathtaking panorama, and endless tranquility. Don’t miss it! 📅 Date: 7:00 PM–9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026 LOCATION: both the course programs and the community hikes depart from Káptalanfüred Main Beach REGISTRATION: participation in the course and community tours is free, but requires advance registration; to enter the beach, you must purchase an admission ticket by 7:00 p.m.. You can also register for individual sessions of the course separately, REGISTRATION FORM: https://forms.gle/b7kLjKKsMXmc6hyq9 We will send confirmation of successful registration and further details to the email address provided during registration within 24 hours of registration. AGE REQUIREMENT: only those 12 years of age or older may participate in the course; for minors, a parental consent form is required for participation, which can also be filled out on-site. Minors may only participate in community SUP tours under parental supervision. CAPACITY: a maximum of 15 participants for both the course and the tours. EQUIPMENT: we can provide SUP boards and life jackets for 10 course participants; 5 participants may use their own equipment for the programs. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory during the course! On the community SUP tours, everyone must use their own equipment. The course is organized by: SUP Travel. Introduction

Káptalanfüred Main Beach is located on the western side of Balatonalmádi, in the district of Káptalanfüred. The beach welcomes visitors in a quiet, family-friendly environment, where peaceful relaxation and active recreation are equally guaranteed. The area has undergone significant development in recent years: a new playground, a sandpit, a beach volleyball court, sunbathing terrace, mini soccer field, and outdoor fitness equipment have also been added.

Beach services include water bike and kayak rentals, sun lounger rental, and several buffets, ice cream parlors, and gift shops. The beach is well maintained and the water quality is excellent, making it an ideal choice for families, couples, and groups of friends.

Accessibility

The beach is located in the southwestern part of Balatonalmádi, between the railway station and Lake Balaton, on Sirály Street. By car, it can be reached from Route 71, turning onto Vasút Street and crossing the railroad tracks. with free parking available at the beach. The nearest train station and bus stop are both within walking distance.

The Lake Balaton cycle path runs right in front of the beach, making it easy to reach the surrounding settlements and the inner parts of Balatonalmádi by bike. Bicycle storage is available for guests.
