Introduction
Csetény is located on the eastern slopes of the Bakony Hills, near Zirc, where history and nature form a unique harmony. The history of the settlement dates back to the Neolithic Age, with the first written mention of it coming from the 14th century. Holitscher House and its park, the Reformed church, and Living Country House are part of the cultural heritage. The country house hosts exhibitions and events for visitors, while the surrounding forests offer opportunities for excursions.
Location & Accessibility
Csetény is located approximately 13 km from Zirc, accessible via the road connecting Zirc and Mór. In addition to the two towns and the surrounding settlements, it can be reached from Veszprém and Székesfehérvár, but also directly from Budapest by bus.
