Bakterház

Bakterház Balatonszepezd is a unique gastronomic venue, which opened in the old railway station building in the spring of 2024. The creator of the place, Márta Mécs, realized a decade-long dream when she transformed the historic building into a community space and breakfast spot. The menu features locally baked sourdough bread, crusty rolls, homemade spreads, granola, egg dishes, and 22 types of coffee, all made from ingredients sourced from local producers. Bakterház not only offers a dining experience, but also functions as a community space: it welcomes guests with a family-friendly, dog-friendly atmosphere, a play area, and a cozy garden. The interior evokes the colors of Lake Balaton, with antique furniture and photographs, making every visit a journey through time.
