Spring Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting with Zelna Winery in Balatonfüred

A morning that has dawned—and in which you slowly find yourself again. 

Where the first signs of spring are already visible among the rows of vines, the air is fresher, the light is softer—and every sip feels a little different. 

This is not a classic wine tasting. 

This is a shared story: about Lake Balaton, our vineyards, our wines – –and about how a single day can set a completely different rhythm.

This is where we start—with a glass of champagne in hand. 

Arrival, getting in the mood, getting to know each other. 

This is the point where we’re still in the city—but in our minds, we’re already heading out. 

• Nyerges dűlő—the place of new beginnings 

Here you’ll find our newest Olaszrizling vineyard—a plot that is still taking shape and developing, but already reveals a lot about where we’re headed.

In this episode, the focus is on Olaszrizling: we’ll taste our Füred Hegybor, which draws its soul from this vineyard. We’ll talk about how a wine is born the moment it’s planted—from decisions, soil, and future generations.

• Penke Vineyard – a hidden world in Balatonszőlős

A sheltered little valley where the atmosphere is quite different.

Here we taste the Penke Pinot Gris, right where it is born. We’ll talk about the soil, the vintages, the proximity of the forest—and how a wine develops its character.

• Farkó-kő vineyard—where it all began

A leisurely walk, two glasses of wine, and stories about the beginnings along the way. 

How did an idea turn into a winery? What makes this vineyard special? The panorama stays with us throughout—Lake Balaton shows a quieter, more serene side at this time of year. 

• Return to Zelna Bistro 

At the end of the tour, we return—and slow down. 

We wrap up the experience with a guided tasting: more dishes, bites, and conversations. 

Here, we’re in no hurry to go anywhere.
