The Lázár Brothers 

The Lázár Brothers—true to their name—are indeed a pair of brothers. Domokos and Ágoston Lázár may be familiar to you from the bands Esti Kornél and Pegazusok nem léteznek, but they were driven by the desire to create music as a duo. In their authentic, intimate, and sincere world, melancholy and humor, sadness and joy coexist side by side, as well as the darker and brighter sides of existence—all cast into clear, simple, and beautiful forms.

In 2018, they decided to take this project seriously. Their first full-length album, titled Hullámtörés, was released in the fall of 2020; its premiere took place in January 2021 at Müpa, and from 2021 to 2023, they toured the country performing songs from the album.

Their second full-length album, titled Eső előtt, was released in November 2023, and they celebrated its release with two sold-out album launch concerts at MüPa.

In 2025, they prepared a four-part album series to be released quarterly; the first instalment, titled Tavasz debuted in March with a double performance at the Hungarian House of Music. The second single, titled Summer, was premiered at Kobuci Kert in Budapest in June 2025, while the Fall was first performed live in the theater hall of the UP Rendezvénytér. The Winter single was first performed as part of the Seasons concert series at the Hungarian House of Music this past March.

Following all this, in October 2026, the audience will be able to see the sibling duo on stage at the Agora in Veszprém.
