🏔️ The flavors of Transylvania at Port Restaurant & Guesthouse – A culinary journey from Szováta to the shores of Lake Balaton!

Overview:

On March 14, we invite you on a special journey, as we bring you the best of Transylvanian cuisine, straight from Szováta.

👨‍🍳 A guest chef from Transylvania

This time, the kitchen will be taken over by Zoltán Garaczi, chef at Hotel Pacsirta in Szováta, who has put together a unique menu for the occasion.

🍲 Traditions and flavors

The menu features traditional Transylvanian ingredients and dishes. These are dishes that have defined the atmosphere of Székely tables for generations.

STARTERS

Smoked eggplant cream, pressed pork with horseradish and chanterelle butter

HOT STARTERS

Sheep's milk polenta casserole with smoked bacon from Cluj

SOUP

Transylvanian soup with vinegar tarragon

Dumpling soup with sour cabbage

MAIN COURSES

Lamb with pickled pea salad

Confit Angus beef with potato purée and chanterelle mushrooms

Székely cabbage with sour cream

Whole roasted trout with garlic broccoli and buttered new potatoes

DESSERT

Vanilla baked apples with honey and roasted hazelnuts
