Spring Wind - The Awakening

Tamás Yvan Topolánszky’s follows from the inside the birth of an emerging political and social movement, with Péter Magyar as its figurehead. For more than a year, the filmmakers followed the future prime minister on his nationwide tours, at campaign stops and in behind-the-scenes conversations, and they were also present during those quiet, intimate moments that had previously remained hidden from the public.

Political analysts—Andrea Szabó, Szabolcs Dull, Zoltán Lakner, and Bálint Ruff— help shed light on the broader context of the story, and Magyar’s close colleagues—including Kriszta Bódis, Márk Radnai, Andrea Rost, and Ervin Nagy—also share their perspectives.

More than 100,000 people bought tickets to see the film, which was released in theaters this past March, making it the most-watched Hungarian documentary of all time.
