My Father's Daughter

Lea Podhradská’s first feature-length film tells an extremely personal story. She was eight years old when her older sister, Deni, disappeared without a trace. No one looked for her—until, 27 years later, a letter arrived from her. However, the letter brought no relief: the family threw it away, along with the address. That’s when Lea decided to grab her camera and set out to find her sister—and, in the process, to find herself as well.
