Mercy

Szofi Szabó (Kata Dobó), an internationally renowned actress and the daughter of an Oscar-winning director, returns to Budapest from the United States after a long absence with her husband (Attila Árpa) and her crew to Budapest to shoot a documentary based on her memories of her youth. During filming, however, the untold truths and past grievances regarding her father come to light both in front of and behind the cameras, thus, in a single day, the issues of family, friendship, and loyalty are reexamined.

Mercy is a distinctly Eastern European story in which, within a few square meters, different realities collide.
