Kenese Placc Fair

Kenese Placc is back this summer! We’re organizing this craft and farmers’ market as a prelude to the 5th Kenese ArtFeszt. Stepping outside the framework of the festival, the fair will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, in the area of Kenese’s Kossuth Square/Old Playground area in the town center.

At the event, in addition to browsing the vendors’ wares, you can also get a glimpse into this year’s Kenese ArtFeszt program through brief conversations with the artists, organizers, workshop leaders. The series of program-preview talks begins at 11 a.m.

The 5th Kenese ArtFeszt will take place from July 29 to August 2, 2026. Similar to previous years, this year’s festival will welcome visitors with approximately 40 different program events. The program includes, among other things, classical, light, and folk music concerts, literary readings, community events, craft workshops, initiation dances, and local history walks.
Kenese Placc and Kenese Stage will take place on August 2 during the festival.
