Introduction

Balatonkenese is a town in Veszprém County, located on the eastern shore of Lake Balaton, with a history spanning over a thousand years. Among its natural attractions is Soós Hill, offering one of the most remarkable views of the lake. The town hosts cultural events throughout the year.

Location & Accessibility

Balatonkenese is accessible by road via the M7 motorway and Route 71. The train station lies on the Budapest–Tapolca railway line. Regular bus services connect the town with surrounding settlements.
