Hen

 The protagonist of György Pálfi's new film is a chicken that has escaped from a hatchery and, after a series of adventures that are both funny and very dangerous, ends up in the courtyard of a dilapidated restaurant. There, she finds love, but must face the chicken hierarchy, and must defend her eggs, which the restaurant owner rigorously collects day after day. Above all, the hen passionately wants to raise her own chicks. Her humorous, heartwarming, and often desperate struggles with her environment and the complex world of human beings are full of tragic compromises, defeats, and victories.
