Canoeing on Kis-Balaton to the Fekete István Memorial Site

Canoeing trip and literary journey: Kis-Balaton, birdlife and the legacy of István Fekete in a single day.

The water access to Diás Island offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of Kis-Balaton. During the program, participants travel by canoe to the highly protected area, where they can learn about the Fekete István Memorial Site and the Matula Hut under the guidance of an expert guide. The aim of the tour is to combine the natural environment and literary memorial sites in an exciting excursion.

The tour starts at the Kis-Balaton Visitor Center, and the introductory section can also be completed by canoe. The program lasts 3-3.5 hours and is led by a guide.
