The Apátsági Sörmusta (Abbey Beer Muster) 2025 offers a unique gastronomic experience in the heart of Tihany, within the historic walls of the Benedictine Abbey. The aim of the event is to showcase the best of Hungarian and international craft beer culture, while preserving the spirit and traditions of the place.
Visitors can sample special apothecary beers, exotic concoctions, and limited edition drinks while enjoying the panoramic view of Lake Balaton and cultural programs. The event is family-friendly, offering experiences for all ages: music, performances, a craft fair, and food stands await visitors.
Tihany Benedictine Abbey is a worthy venue for quality relaxation, where tradition and innovation meet over a glass of beer.

- 1:50 p.m. Opening ceremony
- 2:00 p.m. Presentation on the history of the abbey and the monastery
- 3:30 p.m. Presentation of the beers of the Premonstratensian Abbey of Csorna
- 4:00 p.m. Presentation of the beers of the Pannonhalma Archabbey Brewery
- 4:30 p.m. Beers from the Benedictine Abbey in Tihany
- 5:00 p.m. Presentation of the selection of the Győr Abbey Brewery
- 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Concert on the Rege Courtyard stage, featuring Acoustic Umbrella
An autumn giant painting activity awaits children throughout the day.
Food will be provided by the Apátsági Rege Cukrászda, which will be set up in the courtyard. Sunday, October 5

- Tihanyi Levendulás Búzasör (lavender beer) 4.5%
- Tihanyi Apátsági PILS (with lemon balm) 5%
- Tihany Abbey IPA (with mint), 5%
- Fráter (New England IPA), 6.5% (Szent Mór Bencés Perjelség Győr)
- Meggy Ale (Belgian-style, unfiltered fruit beer) 4.2% (Pannonhalma Archabbey)
- Laudetur beer... under negotiation (Csornai Premontrei Abbey)
Participation information
New this year is the admission ticket! This is not mandatory, and you are free to attend the event without one!
The ticket price includes tasting all six types of draft beer, the first of which is Tihanyi Apátsági PILS (with lemon balm), which can be picked up at the counter before the opening (until 1:50 p.m. on October 4, 2025) at the counter. After that, the other 5 draft beers can be tasted during the introduction of the respective brewery/Introduction of the brewery, which will be served to participants by our colleagues.
If you purchase your ticket in advance (online), you will also receive a REGULA Brewery coaster as a gift!
