The trio of Szilvia Bognár, Bori Magyar, and Ági Szalóki promises a new and exciting musical treat for lovers of world music. These singers, who have received numerous professional awards, have become leading figures in Hungarian folk music, world music, and crossover productions over the past decades. With their diverse ensembles and solo albums, they have already achieved numerous professional and public successes. They have performed at a significant number of concert venues and festivals across the country and regularly appear on prestigious international stages as well. Their art is both local and universally relevant.

Their new production was born out of a shared desire to rediscover and, together with the audience, experience the joy and power of singing together. As representatives of two successive generations, they each bring their own musical experiences and unique soundscapes to the table, while their shared roots connect them to Hungarian folk music traditions. The group’s repertoire includes fresh, unique arrangements of Hungarian folk songs as well as musical traditions from other peoples and ethnic groups, such as Romani, Bulgarian, Turkish, Greek, Sephardic Jewish, and Portuguese songs, all subtly blending the soundscapes of these diverse cultures.

The program features a mix of energetic, danceable tunes and contemplative, lyrical moments, accompanied by outstanding instrumentalists from the worlds of jazz, folk, and world music. The result is a rich, diverse musical experience that speaks both to respect for tradition and to constant renewal.
