4th Family Day: Halloween Pumpkin Carving and Painting; 2nd Cookie-Baking Contest

We have some spine-tinglingly good news!

On October 31, pumpkins, witches, and little ghosts will once again take over the Huray Villas’ garden, as the 4th Pumpkin Carving and Pumpkin Painting Family Day—Halloween Fun is up and coming!

October 31, 2026, 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

Get ready—we’ve got some great activities in store for you again this year!

2:00 p.m.– Pumpkin carving and painting begins

3:00 p.m.– Announcement of the baking contest results

3:15 p.m.– Kids’ yoga

3:30 p.m.– Departure of the first mini-train

4:00 p.m.– Halloween Kids’ Zumba

4:15 p.m.– Kids’ Yoga

5:00 p.m.– Departure of the second mini-train

5:30 p.m.– Announcement of the results of the “Beauty Contest”

And of course, throughout the afternoon, we’ll be carving, painting, creating, play, and together we’ll truly transform the Huray-villas’ garden into a Halloween wonderland.

We can only provide a limited number of pumpkins, so if you have your own at home, feel free to bring them along, carve or paint them here, and then enter them in the Pumpkin Beauty Contest!

We have only a limited supply of pumpkin-carving tools, so if you have your own, please bring them along.

We can’t miss out on the Halloween baking contest that was such a huge hit last year! We’re looking forward to seeing the scariest, most creative, and of course, the most delicious creations from your witch’s kitchen.

Do you love baking? Are you creative in the kitchen? Then here’s your chance to show off the incredibly delicious treats you can make!

Bake-off submission: Between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Categories:

Kids: Up to 15 years old

Adults: 16 years and older

The cookies will be judged by a three-member professional jury starting at 10:00 a.m. based on the following criteria: creativity, appearance, flavor, texture, and overall impression.

Important information:

Entries must consist of a full tray of pastries.

They can be sweet, savory, traditional, or unique— the main thing is that they have a little Halloween magic!

Each entry will be assigned a number, and judging will be based on this number.

Announcement of results: at 3:00 p.m., as part of the 4th Pumpkin Carving and Pumpkin Painting Family Day program.

The spookily delicious creations of the 2nd Halloween Baking Contest will once again be judged by a three-member panel of experts.

The judges won’t have an easy time of it: flavor, presentation, creativity, and, of course, the Halloween spirit will all be taken into account.

So get out your whisks, baking pans, and your scariest ideas—we’re waiting for your treats on October 31!
