Getting in the mood for the Balaton Fish and Wine Festival
In the creative workshop associated with the József Egry exhibition, we will design wine labels.
Experimenting with the monotype technique, we’ll create unique surfaces, then name the wine, and collaboratively design the matching label.
A family program for ages 6 and up, where young and old can get creative together

Balatonfüred’s summer-opening series of gastronomic and cultural events, featuring the following wineries from the Balatonfüred-Csopak Wine Region:

Kids' fishing competition

The competition is open to participants who have not yet turned fourteen in 2026.
First age group: up to 9 years old
Second age group: 10–14 years old
Registration: on-site or via email ([email protected])
Registration fee: N O F E E
Required permit: a fishing license valid for Lake Balaton
Participants in the different age groups can only purchase the appropriate license at fishing stores.
Fishing may be conducted in accordance with the relevant regulations valid in 2026.
According to Balaton Fishing Regulations, anglers with a kid’s ticket may fish with one fishing rod using any method (bottom fishing, float fishing, spinning, etc.).
Prior to the competition, the detailed rules will be distributed to and explained to all entrants.

Note: In the first age group, parents and grandparents are permitted to assist with baiting the hook and removing the fish from the hook.
Scoring: scoring is based on the total weight of the catch.
Awards: the top three finishers in each age group will receive trophies and medals, and the first-place winners will also receive prizes.
Announcement of Results and Award Ceremony: immediately following the weigh-in and judging, on the main stage in front of the Széchenyi statue, expected between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
