15th Family Running Day in Fonyód

On September 27, the Family Running Day will be held in Fonyód for the fifteenth time.

Starting from Vigadó Square, the event once again warmly welcomes anyone looking to get active, as well as families and groups of friends.

The goal of the event is to encourage as many people as possible to join in the group exercise, regardless of age or fitness level. This time, participants can choose from three different distances.

For kids, a 1,500-meter course has been set up, while the shorter route will be 4,000 meters long. Those seeking a greater challenge can complete 6,000 meters, a route that also passes through the Árpád-part running track.

The program begins at 9:00 a.m. with registration, followed by a group warm-up for participants starting at 9:30 a.m. The race will start at 10:00 a.m., and the announcement of results and award ceremony are expected to take place at 11:00 a.m.

Every runner who completes the chosen distance will receive a commemorative running T-shirt.
