13th Spring Festival

BALATONFÜRED SPRING FESTIVAL 2026 – March 13–15: Balatonfüred will once again be filled with culture, music, lights, and springtime excitement. Three days when every corner of the town comes alive – with performances, walks, workshops, kids' programs, exhibitions, and festive shows awaiting all age groups. March 13 – Friday,  5:00 p.m., Esterházy Palace  – Arács, Füred and the Sour Spring Baths in 1848–49 – local history talk. 6:00 p.m., Vitorlás Restaurant  – Cooking with Simon Márton. Menu: goulash soup + pancakes / vegetarian option 7,900 HUF/person. March 14 – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Vaszary Creative Workshop  – Oil pastel workshop with József Egry; 3,000 HUF/person. 10:30 a.m., Reform-era town district  – A revolutionary walk in the footsteps of the 48'ers 2:00 p.m. – Reform Era Walk (also available with a guide) 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Huray Villas  – A botanical print workshop 6,000 HUF/person. 4:00 p.m.,  Kisfaludy Gallery  – A fairy tale castle: The Truthful Shepherd – puppet show 2,000 HUF / family ticket 6,000 HUF. 6:30 p.m., Kiserdő (Small Woods) a torchlight parade with music, dancing, and traditional performers. March 15 – National Holiday. 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Vaszary Gallery: a family craft workshop (hussar hats, ribbons, flags). 11:00, Tagore Gardens – Széchenyi statue  – A festive program and wreath laying. Contributors: actors, students, traditionalists, a brass band. 4:00 p.m., Kisfaludy Gallery: a family interactive dance.
