  • Act 1

Playtimes

A soldier, a stone, and a magical community cookout.

What happens when a discharged soldier arrives at our doorstep with a special cooking device? Of course, he starts cooking—a good soup—and in the meantime, he "cooks" us, the audience, with his stories, humor, and acting. The "camp minister of the stomach," i.e. the front-line soldier, the audience also becomes an active participant in the events: everyone can add their ownto the delicacy being prepared.

In this performance, which evokes the atmosphere of a fair, the props and cooking utensils also come to life, creating a truly communal experience. Márk Horváth's character, shaped with object-rich technique, and Jankó Schneider's 's direction create a unique atmosphere that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
