Almádi Cycling Town this Saturday during the Tour de Hongrie weekend! Cycling demonstrations, an obstacle course, a tour, and a parade of decorated bicycles will kick off Sunday’s start.

Tour de Hongrie route familiarization ride.
Departure at 4:00 p.m. from the Pannónia parking lot, WITHOUT police escort!
The route is Szechenyi Promenade – Market – Hunyadi Street – Kisberényi – Pinkóci – then joining the bike path.
We would go “almost to Veszprém,” then ride mostly on the bike path along the Felsőőrs – Lovas – Alsőörs – Balatonalmádi section.
The distance is approximately 30 km.
The first to sign up for the event was Balatonalmádi’s mayor, László Bercsényi.
Since the goal of this ride is team building, everyone is warmly welcome. This is not a race; it’s a fun, laid-back ride.

The Borháló & Nasska will be waiting for us between Alsőőr and Kápalanfüred, near the Telekfő bus stop.

In addition, Don Gusto and Retro Büfé are also offering special deals to those who take part in this Saturday afternoon bike ride.

Anyone who takes part in the event can go to Bármikor for free and party with a complimentary drink—all they have to do is share #bármikor hashtag, they too can attend the party on May 16 for free!

 Those who don’t join the  trail hike, DJ Bongoloco will be playing music in the Pannonia parking lot starting at 4:00 PM, and the Kackiás Vándorjátszótér will be set up, from 6:00 PM, there will be an extreme bike show and bike school with the Best Bike Show, featuring vintage bicycles, wooden bike petting zoo and exhibition for older kids, while an obstacle course and slalom course await the younger ones. 

We are planning a lighted bicycle parade for the evening. The route is flat and short so that most of the town—and of course the little ones—can take part.
