Mountain Music

Balázs Szendőfi’s nature film showcases the Transylvanian Mountain Range’s breathtaking, water-carved karst landscape, its caves, and its last primeval forests. In addition to depicting the fairy-tale-like wildness of the landscape, the film unflinchingly confronts the viewer with the drastic destruction of primeval nature. The lyrical atmosphere is enhanced by the handpan-bass guitar duets of Ákos Fekecs and Balázs Szendőfi. Their music is not merely background music; alongside Katica Nagy’s voice, plays an equal role in conveying the message.
