Festival Nation

A musical documentary about the human stories behind Hungarian festivals, which are practically a national treasure. The film takes viewers behind the scenes of iconic events such as Sziget, Valley of Arts, and VOLT, while renowned organizers and musicians— including Károly Gerendai, András Lovasi, and Beton.Hofi—share their memories of nostalgia and generational experiences. The film by Attila Csizmadia and Tamás Yvan Topolánszky shows how these events built freedom out of dust and how our country became a land of festivals.
