Siófok

Siófok is the vibrant center of the southern shore of Lake Balaton, where historical heritage, sports opportunities, and cultural programs all come together. The city’s iconic water tower, century-old villas, and religious buildings offer sights beyond the beach, while the beaches, sports fields, and boat excursions provide active recreation. Year-round events and festivals add color to the city’s cultural life.

Siófok is easily accessible by car via the M7 motorway and Main Route 7. In summer, it can be reached directly by train and bus from almost every part of the country. During the season, scheduled boat services depart from the city to Balatonfüred and Tihany, while a year-round ferry operates from nearby Szántódrév to Tihanyrév.
