Huray Villa, Building B

The Huray Villas are located on the corner of Jókai Mór and Blaha Lujza streets, opposite the Round Church. The two villas, as well as the farmhouse and the servants' quarters, served as the home of Mór Jókai's brother-in-law, who treated patients visiting Füred for more than fifty years. Of the three buildings, the renovation affected the two villas. The renovated "A" villa now houses the Huray family and the reform-era spa therapy , the Tourinform office operated by the Balatonfüred Tourist Association, and a gift shop. The "B" building hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events as a cultural venue. The chronoscope in front of Villa B displays contemporary photographs of several locations in Balatonfüred (e.g., the boat dock, the Round Church, the Huray villas).

An installation in the garden provides an overview of the spa culture of the Reform Era and the Huray family. Themed walks also start from the Huray villa, during which those interested can get to know the town center during the Reform Era.
