Balatonalmádi

Balatonalmádi is one of the liveliest towns on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, where historical landmarks, outdoor sports, and cultural venues complement each other. The fortified Reformed Church and the Kult-Magtár, which recalls the Jesuit past, add historical depth to any visit. The Köcsi Lake nature trail and the Malomvölgy Meadow offer active recreation, while city events and exhibition spaces enrich your stay with cultural experiences.

Balatonalmádi is accessible by road via M7 motorway and then along Route 71. By rail, it lies on the Budapest–Székesfehérvár–Tapolca line, with the bus station just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. A pedestrian underpass connects the downtown area to the lakeside public park, and the passenger port is located on the western side of the park. Most major attractions are easily walkable.
