How did people take photographs in the 19th century? You can get a comprehensive answer to this question in Imre Zalka’s lecture, with the collaboration of Zsuzsi Ujj. The master will not only discuss the exciting image-creation methods of the history of technology, but will also give a practical demonstration of how the light-sensitive materials used for exposure and reproduction were prepared. The presentation is so interactive that at the end of the talk, he will not only reveal his professional secrets but also display a freshly made 18x24 cm paper print.
And if that weren’t enough, at the same time, Péter Laczkó will be creating portrait photographs on fragile glass plates using the direct positive process.

If you’re feeling sad that you can’t take part in both at the same time, don’t be! Imre will repeat the mid-morning presentation in the afternoon, and Péter will be taking photos all day long.www.vandorfenykepesz.hu
