Winter vacation at the Folly

We welcome our guests with garden programs on December 27, 28, 30, and 31: We are preparing a festive-themed escape room and garden walk with light painting. The Folly ó&éveúcsúztató wine dinner on December 30 will be filled with energy from delicious, richly prepared winter dishes, and we hope that they will bring good luck in the coming year. Our New Year's Eve offer:

• On December 31, a special New Year's Eve wine tasting from 2:00 p.m.
• December 31 and January 1: "Raise a glass with us to the new year" – In our restaurant, we will treat our guests to a glass of Buborék with their main course chosen from the menu or the weekend specials. with a glass of Buborék.
• On December 31 and January 1, we will treat children to fun New Year's Eve and New Year's Day treats.

The evening dinner voucher is valid between December 26-30, 2025 and January 1-3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 5:00 p.m.:nbsp;in our restaurant, where you can enjoy a full meal, and it also entitles the owner to enter the arboretum. There are numerous spectacular light displays throughout the Folly Arboretum grounds. Most notably at dusk and after dark, visitors can admire the varied colors and light animationsIn total, there are eight locations where plants come to life, and the garden's iconic trees and outdoor artworks and sculptures are illuminated.A special highlight of winter evenings is the light painting garden walk, which illuminates the lower and middle parts of the arboretum light painting garden walk, which not only enchants participants with lights and spectacular techniques, but also allows them to learn about the history of the Folly family and the challenges facing the garden.

During the second week of the school break, at the beginning of January, we are once again organizing open days. Between January 1 and 4, 2026, local residents can enter the arboretum free of charge if their place of residence is betweenbetween 8251 and 8319. Local guests are also welcome with an extra discount only on these days: visitors from the surrounding area (if their place of residence is between 8251 and 8319 ) receive a ticketand other discounts.During the Open Days, Folly has many surprises in store: after the opening ceremony, you can admire how the unique light painting, the plants and outdoor artworks of the Arboretum will come to life, and the programs planned for the school break days, visitors can also purchase tickets for an adventure-filled family escape room, a festive themed garden walk, and a wine tasting.Program, opening hours, and further information: click here!
