On October 24, 2026, starting from the heart of Kisapáti, we’ll create a community experience where every step and every pedal stroke tells a story of shared values, respect for nature, and a sense of togetherness. The Szent György-hegy KISAPÁTI Trail is not just a date on the calendar, nor is it just about stopwatches.
Age-Group Running Race
Are you ready to conquer the slopes of Szent György Hill, while the most beautiful panoramic views of the Balaton Uplands unfold before you? Whether your goal is to break your personal best, or simply want to lose yourself in the beauty of the landscape, this 10-kilometer course is the perfect place to show off your inner strength!
Distance: 10 km
Elevation gain: +280 m
Start: 11:00
Age groups: 10–20 years, 21–40 years, 41–50 years, 51–60 years, 61–99 years
Capacity limit: 200 participants (spaces are limited to ensure course safety and an accident-free race!)
Entry fee: 5,000 HUF per person
Free for Kisapáti residents.

Kids’ Trail – Kids' Run on St. George’s Hill
Even our youngest heroes deserve a huge round of applause and the thrill of a real race. Bring your kids so they can get a taste of the joy of trail running in a fun, safe environment, and experience the exhilarating moment of crossing the finish line.
Distances and age groups:
Ages 4–6: 200 m — Big moments for the littlest runners
Ages 7–10: 400 m — A fast-paced, energetic mini-trail
Ages 11–14: 800 m — A real tactical challenge for the young runners
Entry fee: Free.

Lion’s Head Loop – Hiking Trail
Slow down, take deep breaths, and discover the rugged, romantic side of Szent György Hill at your own pace. The Oroszlánfej Loop isn’t about the stopwatch, but about getting close to nature, conquering the contour lines, and the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit.
Distance: 10 km
Elevation gain: +500 m (a challenging mountain hike!)
Start (starting window): Continuously between 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Entry fee: 3,000 HUF/person
Free for residents of Kisapáti.
Capacity limit: max. 100 people (including cyclists participating in the full-distance tour)

Bicycle Tour
Hop on your bike and explore the most beautiful landscapes of the Tapolca Basin on a charming, stamp-collecting bike tour! This program is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the magic of the Balaton Uplands while riding on low-traffic roads and well-maintained bikes and want to enjoy the Balaton Uplands and the embrace of the hills.
Route: Kisapáti – Hegymagas – Szigliget – Badacsonytőrdemic – Badacsony – Nemesgulács – Kisapáti
Distance: 28 km (a pleasant, scenic loop ride)
Terrain: Side roads with light traffic and bike paths
Registration fee: 3,000 HUF/person
Free for residents of Kisapáti.
Capacity limit: max. 100 people (including participants in the hiking tour)
