SZILÁGYI LÁSZLÓ / LACKÓ (1966–2007) A retrospective exhibition of the works of this painter, who was closely associated with both the city of Veszprém and the punk movement, is the subject of a retrospective exhibition organized by House of Arts at Csikász Gallery. During Hungarian Culture Week, a thematic selection of works are displayed from museum collections and private collections, which can be considered outstanding pieces from a life full of hectic moments and fragments.
In the hours before the exhibition opening (3:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m.), we are organizing an Open Studio program in Lackó Szilágyi's former apartment on Miklós Street. (18 Miklós u., Veszprém 8200)
The exhibition will open at Csikász Gallery (17 Vár u., Veszprém 8200) at 5 p.m., on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

On the occasion of Holtszezon (Off-Season) literary festival, at 4:00 p.m., February 22, 2026, those interested can take part in a guided tour led by literary historian and university associate professor István Ladányi.
