PUERI IN ADVENTU: CHILDREN IN ADVENT – 2026 - VLFK Búzavirág Children's Choir

Pueri in adventu, as its name suggests, invites four different children’s ensembles to perform during the main worship services at four different churches in Veszprém on the four Sundays of Advent, while also taking denominational diversity into account.

In 2024, as part of our first series, a different children’s ensemble performed each Sunday, enriching and complementing the festive liturgies without ever straying from their established framework. We were delighted to find that we were able to engage members of the Catholic, Reformed, and Lutheran denominations alike. Our first event, which laid the foundation for a new tradition, not only became another fresh yet meaningful highlight of our city but was also an unqualified success, as we had a full house every time—so there was never any question about continuing the series.
