Pomerium - Our house's landscape, our landscape's house - Days reminiscent of the past in Balatonalmádi

Three days when the city's iconic villas open their doors and the past comes to life!

The aim of the event is to showcase Balatonalmádi's iconic villas, local values, and community heritage. During the three-day event, visitors can take part in historical walks,exhibitions, concerts, and nostalgic bus tours.

• 4:00 p.m. – POMERIUM walk: Let's get to know our values!
  Departure: in front of the Pannonia Library
  Contents: Themed walk along the values of Balatonalmádi, with local history presentations.
• 7:00 p.m. – Ceremonial opening and concert
  📍 Imre Kerényi Cultural Center (Thököly u. 1.)
  🎶 Concert by János Csík and MEZZO
  🎟️ Admission: 3,000 HUF/person>Tickets available: from September 22 at the Pannonia Library and on site from 4 p.m. on the day of the concert.

• 9:00 p.m. – POMERIUM promenade and night walk

  • Exhibition from the Blaska and Jordán family archives
  • Theme: The history of Magtár and the monastery
  • Guided night walk in the building complex

• The houses are opening up—nearly 30 local villas and buildings tell the story of the city's past.

  • The houses can be visited individually

• Nostalgic bus tour of the city

  • Departure: in front of City Hall
  • Departure times: 10:00, 13:00, 16:00
  • 10:00 and 16:00  – free trips
  • 1:00 p.m. – guided tour with a guide who will tell you about the buildings
    🎟️ Participation fee: 2,000 HUF/person

• 5:00 p.m. – Tea party and quiz game

  • Fun closing event with the Pintér couple from Fűzfő
  • 📍 Location: the closing venue of the event
  • 🎉 Participation: free of charge
