Program overview

With a local guide, gain insight into the traditions of pig slaughtering and processing – an authentic, hands-on experience!
Making hurka sausage, kolbász sausage, toros cabbage, sausage delicacies – you make everything together, then taste it with pálinka, mulled wine, and selected Vass wines.
Take home locally made sausages and hurkák – a souvenir of your joint effort!

  • 8:00 a.m. welcome, pig slaughtering
  • 9:00-10:00 a.m. pig slaughter breakfast
  • 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. processing, festivities
  • 13:00 Lunch
  • 14:00-17:00 optional programs (cellar tour, tractor tour, guided wine tasting with winemaker Bernadett Fazekas)
  • 5:00-6:00 p.m. Pig roast dinner with unlimited wine consumption.

Participation information

  • Photos and videos will be taken at the event.
  • Children under the age of 6 can attend free of charge, but registration is required!
  • Children between the ages of 6 and 14 can participate in the program at a 50% discount!
  • Guest rooms can be booked for 8-10 people for the duration of the event!
