His sons want to put him in a nursing home, but the feisty old man doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in an institution, so he runs away. While shopping in a grocery store, an irresistibly enticing scent—a mixture of chainsaw oil,pine bark and sawdust—shakes him out of his grumpy mood. The scent belongs to a free-spirited woman named Saimi. Her words, her gaze, and her touch awaken long-forgotten feelings in him and shed light on the loneliness of a widower.
