End-of-Season Skateboarding Event – Veszprém VEB 2026

Let’s wrap up the 2026 skateboarding season together in Veszprém!

On September 25, the Veszprém skateboarding community will gather once again. For the closing event of the VEB 2026 skateboarding series, we welcome beginners, advanced skaters, kids, adults, and anyone who’d like to join in for the first time.

This event will not be a traditional competition. We want to create an afternoon where everyone can find a challenge they can accomplish, and where it’s not just the biggest tricks that count. There will be jams, skill challenges, group rides, opportunities to practice, and, of course, a place for those who are just getting started with skateboarding.

Higher, farther—but at your own level

To wrap up the season, we’re preparing several simple, spectacular, and easy-to-follow jam sessions.

High-Jump Jam — who can jump over increasingly higher obstacles on a skateboard?

Long-jump jam — here, it’s not about a complicated trick, but rather momentum, control, and taking risks.

Short line jam — consists of a few tricks performed one after another. Short sequences can be used to show how each skater uses the course and puts together their own routine.

We’re not just looking for the best skateboarders. The whole point of jams is to try lots of things, make improvements, try again, watch each other, and push each other forward.

Come even if you’re not a “competitor” yet

From the very beginning, one of the most important goals of this series of events has been to make skateboarding accessible even to those who don’t yet feel confident in a skatepark.

That’s why, even at the end of the season, you don’t need advanced trick skills to participate.

You can cruise around, practice, ask for help, complete simpler challenges, or just hang out with everyone else. We don’t assume a single required skill level for the tasks: the same challenge can be completed at multiple difficulty levels.

The goal is to take your next step—whether it’s your first stable roll or a new trick.

Bring your Skateboarding Passport with you!

The VEB 2026 Skateboarding Passport accompanied the entire program series. Stamps were awarded not just for showing up, but for genuine participation, completed tasks, skill challenges, or group rides.

At the closing event in September, there will again be an opportunity to complete tasks and earn stamps, so anyone who already has a Skateboarding &Passport should definitely bring it along.

The season finale also marks the conclusion of the Passport program: this is where the raffle and awards ceremony associated with the series of events will take place.

There were more than three events

The day in September marked the end of an entire season.

The VEB 2026 skateboarding programs featured group skate sessions, instructional sessions, skill challenges, and larger community events, we tried to show just how much skateboarding has to offer.

From the season opener on May 1 through Go Skateboarding Day in June and on to the regular events in Veszprém, the goal remained the same: to get as many people as possible moving, create opportunities for learning, and strengthen the local skateboarding community.

On September 25, we’ll wrap up this season together.

What You Need to Know

The event begins on Friday, September 25, 2026, in the afternoon after school in Veszprém.

Participation is free.

The program is open to both beginners and advanced riders, and no competitive experience is required to participate.

If you have a Skateboarding Passport, please bring it with you.

We’ll post information about the exact location and detailed schedule before the event.

On September 25, we don’t just want to see who can jump the highest or the farthest. We also want to see how much progress the Veszprém skateboarding community has made over the course of a season.
