Iván Kamarás: Poetry Day/d

POETRY DAY/D, where Iván Kamarás puts a number of well-known song lyrics into a slightly—or very—new light.

Songs by Edda, Tankcsapda, Valmar, Magna Cum Laude, Wellhello, Azariah, and many other iconic artists—with a slightly different twist… Kamarás stands in the center of the circle, and the audience weeps. Sometimes from laughter, sometimes from the touch that soothes the soul. What’s more, legendary actors of the past come to life, and Kamarás enchants the audience with his vocal mimicry: Iván Darvas, Ferenc Bessenyei, and Zoltán Latinovits all “make an appearance” that evening, thus preserving and honoring the memory of the greats of yesteryear.

As an extra treat, a few songs will also be performed by Iván Kamarás, since music is what accompanying himself on the guitar. Poetry Day/d, a celebration of culture—entertaining, yet of high quality.
