What was Jamie Cullum doing at his first concert in Hungary, in Veszprém? Where did Katie Melua take a walk before her performance? Which international star was most surprised by the view of Veszprém? And how did a small town of queens become one of the most unique meeting places for the world music and jazz scene in Hungary?

During the Rosé, Riesling, Jazz Days, we invite our guests on a special journey through time. During the city walk, memorable moments from VeszprémFest’s more than twenty-year history come to life, behind-the-scenes secrets, and legendary stories.

The tour guide is none other than Zoltán Mészáros, the festival director, who personally recounts the visits of world-famous artists to Veszprém, the festival’s origins, the most memorable concerts, and the stories that the public usually never gets to hear.

This isn’t just a city tour. It’s a behind-the-scenes journey through Veszprém’s cultural history, where the city’s streets, squares, and buildings hold memories of concerts, gathering, or festival moment.
