In Search of Masks. Family Afternoon with Pilar Pedraza Q'ONOY 6 The Night of Fire Cultural Centers Night and Day

Photographer Pilar Pedraza’s exhibition showcases one of the most vibrant festivals in the Peruvian Andes, the Virgen del Carmen festival, in which twenty masked dance troupes reenact ancient, mythical battles. The exhibition, realized with the support of the Embassy of Peru in Hungary,is part of the French Ministry of Culture’s “Bicentennial of Photography” program. In addition to exploring the exhibition, visitors can gain insight into ancient Peruvian culture through creative activities.
