To mark the 120th , in 2026, we’ll bring the world-renowned artist’s works closer to you than you’ve ever experienced before.
Long before the digital age, Vasarely conceived of visual systems that today seem almost algorithmic. Many consider his works to have been precursors to computer graphics and digital visual culture.
But what happens when we rethink Vasarely’s iconic works with the help of digital technology?
You may have already experienced this at our performance titled Csontváry – In the Language of Photons.
Now we’re taking the artistic experience to a whole new level: join us for the Vasarely guided tour!
Are you curious about what exactly Op Art means, how Vasarely became a pioneer of the style, and how are Lake Balaton and zebras connected to Vasarely’s life?
Our latest immersive projection, titled Vasarely - The Father of Op Art, is complemented by, you’ll not only discover the artist’s iconic works but also the stories, connections, and the exciting details of how the works came to be.
In Vasarely’s watercolor, we, too, can become active creators and, by picking up a “virtual brush,” we can shape the entire painting.

The Course of the Guided Tour
The program takes place in groups of up to 15 people. Our guide will lead you through the venues of the Vasarely Experience: the Hexagon and the Experience Corridor.
The program starts on time, so please arrive on time.
Now you won't just be a spectator—you'll be an explorer.
