Our museum's events and educational activities aim to showcase folk culture and traditions.
Craft activities closely linked to nature, reviving the eating habits of our ancestors, learning about environmentally conscious lifestyles, the use of natural materials in interior design, clothing, etc., are all experiencing a renaissance.
In response to this year's call for the Autumn Festival of Museums, we are reviving some activities that can now be considered traditional, and show how we can incorporate them into our everyday lives and pass them on to future generations.
Learn about traditional bread-making methods. Preserve your grain and bake your bread with our program!
Ecological awareness has long been concerned with the consumption habits of the past and present, ecological footprints, and you can even make recycled paper from eggshells!
In the Secrets of Golden Wool program, you can learn interesting facts about the processing of animal products and follow the versatile uses of wool, reflecting current trends. and its versatile uses, reflecting current trends. You will have the opportunity to learn about and try out the tools and techniques of adobe building all day long.
The highlight of the afternoon will be the Zalaegerszeg Dog School's therapyand dog show, and a presentation by the Gyöngybagolyvédelmi Alapítvány (Gyöngybagolyvédelmi Foundation) on the sustainable use of natural resources!
Horse-drawn carriage rides will also be available again this year.
You can pet the animals of the adventure farm all day long, our exhibits are waiting for you with open gates!
