The season commemorating the 200th , the opening exhibition in Veszprém features the work of Árpád Kiss-Kuntler, who was honored with the Photojournalist Lifetime Achievement Award in 2026, featuring an exceptional selection of his black-and-white photographs. The exhibition is an intimate confession that, through the mediation of visual language and recorded thoughts, brings together the impressions and and moods that, as a spiritual legacy, have freely shaped the photographer’s self-expression over the years.

This thematic photo series titled Hommage, which pays homage to our great predecessors and outstanding contemporaries, features artists (Claude Monet, Henri Rousseau, Le Corbusier), writers (Béla Hamvas, Krasznahorkai, Grimm, Asimov), and scientists (Attenborough, Carlo Rovelli, Stephen Hawking), whom the photojournalist regards as role models.
